Located in the Bartle Library, the Recording Studios provide students, faculty and staff with the space and equipment to create audio or video recordings for class projects, course introductions, presentation practice, interview practice and more. The studios feature Panopto, a platform which makes it easy to record, edit, manage and share your videos. They also feature audio editing software. The equipment in the studios are set up and ready to use — it all turns on with the flip of a switch!
The recording studios are for recording or editing audio and video projects. If you are not in need of or utilizing the specialized technology in these spaces please book one of the Libraries' group study rooms. You may be asked to yield the room or have your appointment canceled if you are not currently working on an audio or video project.
Reservation requests go to the Digital Scholarship team for approval and should be made at least 24 hours in advance. Reservations can be made up to 60 days in advance. You will receive an initial confirmation email after booking and a second email once the reservation is approved.
