Open Access: What It Means For You

Open Access: What It Means For You

The conversation about Open Access within SUNY has grown with recent passage earlier in 2017 of a resolution calling for SUNY Open Access Repository Policies at the SUNY University Faculty Senate. Several SUNY campuses have passed Open Access policies for their researchers and students.

Nick Shockey, director of programs and engagement, Scholarly Publishing and Academic Resources Coalition (SPARC), will discuss what Open Access means and how it may impact the reach of your work.

For more information about the recent SUNY Open Access Resolution, visit Resolution Calling for SUNY Open Access Repository Policies.
