Digital Scholarship in the Classroom: Annotate like a Genius

Digital Scholarship in the Classroom: Annotate like a Genius

Learn about the collaborative, media-rich annotation platform Genius and how to design group or individual student assignments around it. Please bring materials from a recent course, such as a syllabus or assignment prompt, that we can use as a jumping off point for designing your new annotation assignment.

Lunch will be provided. Registration is required.

More about Genius: Originally known as Rap Genius, this platform now includes sections for annotating literature, film and television, sports, and the internet at large. Creating an account is free, and the platform is user-friendly, so no experience is required.
